Sally's Angels Announces Fall Grant Winners!

I was so pleased to have received 21 applications for the Fall Grant opportunity through TVNPA. Such great care was put into each application and so many organizations met the selection criteria. Thank you for such informative responses, I have learned a great deal about your work. It was a difficult decision to select recipients as ALL of you are so deserving of funding and assistance. In addition to evaluating responses on the application, selections were based on where the most impact could be made. The three Sally’s Angels Fall Grant recipients are:

$2500 GrantTri-Valley Haven - The funds will be used to procure gifts for at risk or homeless teenagers that are often overlooked for gift giving at the holidays.

$1,500 GrantWhite Pony Express – The funds will be used to purchase needed capital equipment to better serve food distribution to a host of charitable food centers.

$1,000 Grant Valley Humane Society – The funds will be used to supplement the Paws to Read and Comfort Pet Therapy programs where animals provide love and support to children and seniors.

An additional grant will be made for technology equipment for Marilyn Ave. School in Livermore’s STEAM program which serves low-income children, providing creative tools that stimulate learning.

This is just the beginning of my giving back to our local community and I look forward to learning more about the work of each of your organizations in the months ahead. Please know that I would be pleased to be included in your campaigns and upcoming events. I am grateful to you for applying for this opportunity and truly encourage each of you to continue your efforts. Thank you to TVNPA for helping me launch this program. As a Corporate Member of TVNPA I am appreciative of the insight and support they have provided, without which I could never have begun this grant program.

Again, thank you to all applicants. I wish you great success for your programs and many blessings in this approaching holiday season.

Regards,
Sally
